Kreglinger

The estate is located in the municipality of Segnitz (Maindreieck) in the German wine-growing region Franconia, The sex of the Kreglinger can be traced back over 700 years, a winegrowing in the family has been proven at least since 1830. The company is owned by Gertrud Kreglinger-Müller, cellar master is Herbert Müller. The vineyards cover ten hectares of vineyards in the individual layers chapel hill (Frickenhausen), Sonnenberg (Marktbreit), as well as Pfaffensteig and Zobelsberg (Segnitz). They are planted with the white varieties Silvaner, Riesling, Pinot Blanc, Rivaner, Rieslaner, Scheurebe, Traminer, Bacchus and Kerner, as well as the red varieties Domina, Dornfelder and Blaufränkisch . The product range includes quality wines in the liter bottle (dry = yellow, not dry = gray label), Prädikatsweine in bocksbeutel (blue label), red wines in the Bocksbeutel (red label) and "Junge Linie" with red wine cuvée Rubinio, rosé and Rotling in Bordeaux bottle. The white wines are fruity in the steel tank. The red wines mature in the newly restored vaulted cellar from the 17th century traditionally in large oak barrels from Spessartiche. Bottle-fermented sparkling wines and brandies (pomace, wine, fruit) are also produced.
