The winery, which was operated under the name "Domaschitz" until 2003, is located in the municipality of Neusetz (Hof bei Straden) in the Austrian wine-growing region Vulkanland Steiermark, Since there were always ambiguities and confusion, the name was changed to Krispel. A tavern and a guest house are connected. It has been managed by Anton Krispel since 1989, who took over the parental property with 0.5 hectares of vineyards and expanded it to its current size. A new basement with three levels was put into operation in 2001. The vineyards cover 12 hectares in the Königsberg, Pregucken, Rosenberg, Seindling and Strandl vineyards. They are 85% planted with the white varieties Welschriesling, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, Sauvignon Blanc, Morillon, Riesling, Muskateller, Traminer, Seedling 88 and Müller-Thurgau, the rest with the red varieties Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah. The premium wines include the white wine cuvée eruption (Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc), the red wine cuvée Magma (Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir) and Welschriesling Classic.
