With regard to the parentage or possible relationship to the red variety Krstač Crna nothing is known. The name refers to the cruciform shape of the grapes (Krstač = cross). The late-ripening vine is prone to both mildews and especially for Botrytis, It produces alcohol-rich, fresh white wines with aromas of elderflowers, green apples and pears. The variety is grown mainly in the area Podgorica. In 2010, however, no stock was recorded (Kym Anderson ).
