The winery is located in the municipality of Deutsch-Schützen-Eisenberg in the Austrian DAC area Eisenberg. It is managed by Reinhold Krutzler in the fifth family generation. The basis for the quality was created by the senior boss and viticulture pioneer Hermann Krutzler. The vineyards comprise 12 hectares of vineyards in, for example, the Rieden Weinberg (Deutsch-Schützen) as well as plots of land at Eisenberg. 97% of them are planted with the red wine varieties Blaufränkisch (85%), Zweigelt and Merlot, the rest with Welschriesling. The flagship of the house is the red wine "Blaufränkisch Perwolff", which is made from the best Blaufränkisch grapes of each vintage and matured for 17 months in barriques and 500-litre barrels. Perwolff is an old name of Deutsch-Schützen from the 13th century. The new logo of the winery is also derived from the name. The "Wolff" in the form of a silhouette of the animal adorns every label. Other premium wines are Blaufränkisch Reserve and a classic Blaufränkisch. The winery is a member of Renommierte Weingüter Burgenland.

Serious sources on the internet are rare - and Wine lexicon from wein.plus is one such source. When researching for my articles, I regularly consult the wein.plus encyclopaedia. There I get reliable and detailed information.
