The white grape variety originates from Kazakhstan. Synonyms are Chulchinka, Chulsinsky, Huotianhong, Huotiaohong, Kouldginka, Kouldjinka, Kouldjinsky, Kulchinskii, Kulcinka, Kulcinskiy, Kuldzhinka and Kultezhinski. The parentage is unknown. The variety was a crossing partner in the new variety Belek. The late-ripening vine produces acidic, neutral-tasting white wines and is well suited for the production of sparkling wine and brandy. It is used as a wine grape and table grape. In 2016, 385 hectares of vineyards were designated in Kazakhstan (Kym Anderson statistics). It is also said to be cultivated in small quantities in Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan, as well as in China.
