The estate is located in the community Esslingen (area Remstal-Stuttgart) in the German wine-growing region
Wuerttemberg, It is owned by Hans and Monika Kusterer. Worth mentioning is the medieval 14th century winepress building (1347), which was bought by the family in 1991 in a dilapidated condition and was repaired until 1994. Since then, there have often been events of various kinds. The vineyards cover five hectares of vineyards in the terraced individual layers
Schenkenberg (with 47 parcels) and since April 2007 in monopoly ownership
Neckarhalde (both Esslingen). They are planted with the red varieties Trollinger, Lemberger, Samtrot, Pinot Noir, Blauer Portugieser, Dornfelder, Zweigelt and Merlot, and the white varieties Riesling and Pinot Gris. By promoting the natural enemies of the vine pests, a healthy flora and fauna in the vineyard is supported in order to obtain healthier grapes and thus better quality wines. In winemaking, traditional methods such as maceration with a long service life are used. Bottle-fermented sparkling wines and brandies (grape, wine) are also produced.
