Named after the commune of Ladoix-Serrigny, the Village appellation covers 90 hectares of vineyards in the Burgundy Côte de Beaune region. More than 90% of it is used to produce red wines from Pinot Noir, as well as white wines from Chardonnay with some Pinot Blanc. As an alternative AC can only be used for red wines Ladoix-Côte de Beaune. The community has small shares of the famous vineyard Corton. They are allowed to use the Grand Cru names Corton and Corton-Charlemagne (see under Aloxe-Corton). The Premiers Crus comprise 24 hectares of vineyards. These are Basses Mourottes, Bois Roussot, En Naget, Hautes Mourottes, La Corvée, La Micaude, Le Clou d'Orge, Le Rognet, Les Buis, Les Gréchons and Les Joyeuses. Well-known producers are Capitain-Gagnerot, Edmond Cornu, Domaine Maurice Martray and Price Florent de Mérode.
