Lady Downe's Seedling

The red grape variety is a new breed between Black Morocco x Muscat d'Alexandrie according to 2013 DNA analysis, The paternity of Sweetwater that had been assumed until then ( Chasselas ) was found to be wrong. Synonyms are Emil Royal Chernyi, Lady Downe's, Lady Downe's Black Seedling and Lady Dauns Sidling. The crossing took place in 1835 England by M. Foster. The variety is called table grape used.
