DOC range for white wines (from 2012) and red wines in the Italian region Umbria, The area includes the municipality Baschi and the municipality Orvieto with the districts Corbara (eponymous Tiber dam), Fossatello, Prodo and Titgnano in the province of Terni.

The Bianco is going to the. 60% Grechetto ( Grechetto di Orvieto or Grechetto di Todi Pignatello?) and / or Sauvignon ( Sauvignon Blanc ), as well as max. 40% other approved varieties pressed. The Rosso is in any use of Cabernet Sauvignon. Merlot, Pinot Nero ( Pinot Noir ) and Sangiovese (about 70%), as well as other approved varieties (max 30%) blended.

The varietal wines must contain at least 85% of each variety. These are the four white wines Chardonnay, Grechetto, Sauvignon and Vermentino, as well as the four reds Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Pinot Nero and Sangiovese. The two types of wine Passito and Vendemmia tardiva (Late harvest) are made from Grechetto and / or Sauvignon (60%) and other approved (40% maximum). All wines except the Vendemmia Tardiva are also called Riserva allowed.
