The white grape variety comes from Armenia, Synonyms are Burra, Dana Bouroun, Dana Burnu, Dana Burny, Dana Burun, Glglan and Lalvary. The parentage is unknown. The medium to late ripening vine is susceptible to both mildews and Botrytis, It is grown in the province of Tavush in northeastern Armenia. The variety produces fresh white wines with moderate alcohol content and neutral taste, which are also used for sparkling wine production. It is also called table grape used.
