DOC area for sparkling red and rosé wines ( Spumante and Frizzante ) in the Italian region Emilia-Romagna, The zone includes the entire municipalities of Bastiglia, Bomporto, Nonantola, Ravarino and San Prospero, as well as parts of the municipalities of Galliano, Camposanto, Carpi, Castelfranco Emilia, Modena, San Cesario sul Panaro and Soliera in the province of Modena. All wines are made Lambrusco di Sorbara (60%), Lambrusco Salamino (max. 40%), as well as any use of others Lambrusco varieties (max. 15%) blended.
