DOC area for sparkling red wines and rosé wines made from Lambrusco varieties in the Italian region of Emilia-Romagna The zone includes the municipalities of Cavezzo, Concordia sulla Secchia, Medolla, Novi di Modena, San Felice sul Panaro and San Possidonio, as well as parts of Campogalliano, Camposanto, Carpi, Finale Emilia, Mirandola, Modena and Soliera in the province of Modena. All wines are made from Lambrusco Salamino (to. 85%), as well as in any mixture of Ancellotta, Uva d'Oro = Fortana and other Lambrusco varieties (max. 15%). There are the wine types Rosso Spumante, Rosato Spumante, Rosso Frizzante and Rosato Frizzante. All are available in the flavours secco or asciutto, abboccato or semisecco and amable or dolce.
