The white grape variety is an interspecific new variety between Dattier de St. Vallier x Dekorativnyi (Severny x Saperavi), which was confirmed by DNA analyses carried out in 2018. Synonyms are Lanca and Lanka Muszkatnaya. Genes from Vitis amurensis, Vitis berlandieri, Vitis rupestris and Vitis vinifera are included. The hybrid was crossed in 1967 by the breeder E. N.
