IGP area north of the AOC area Fronton in Southwest France, It belongs to the huge regional IGP area Comté Tolosan, The former VDQS area (formerly Vins de Lavilledieu) was classified in 2012. It lies between Montauban and Castelsarrasin in the confluence of the Tarn and Garonne in 15 municipalities in the Tarn-et-Garonne department. The vineyards cover around 150 hectares of vineyards on sandy and clay soils. It is maritime climate in front. 80% red wines and 20% rose wines are produced. They are made of varieties Négrette. Gamay. Cabernet Franc. Syrah and Tannat blended.
