Legno

Italian term (also "in legno") for wood. In Italian wine descriptions it is stated that the wine was aged in wooden barrels. That can be a traditional one large wooden barrel, but also Barrique (the latter is usually stated explicitly). See also under Oak wood and barrel aging,
