Legno

Italian name (also "in legno") for wood. In Italian wine descriptions it is said that the expansion of a wine was done in a wooden barrel. That can be a traditional one big wooden barrel, but also Barrique (the second is usually stated explicitly). See also under Oak wood and barrel aging,
