The winery "Müsterter Hof - Weingut Lehnert-Veit" is located in the municipality of Piesport (Bernkastel area) in the German Moselle wine growing region. It has been in family ownership since 1648. Since 1967, the business has been managed by Erich Lehnert, and today it is supported by his son Peter. A bunch economy and guest rooms are attached. The vineyards comprise seven hectares of vineyards in the Piesport sites Falkenberg, Goldtröpfchen, Günterslay and Treppchen. They are mainly planted with Riesling (4.9 hectares), as well as Pinot Noir, Pinot Blanc and Rivaner. The quality concept is based on integrated viticulture, low pruning, thinning out of the grapes in summer, selective harvesting, gentle ageing and cool fermentation with the aim of achieving wines that are typical of the variety. The red wines are partly aged in barriques. In suitable years, high quality wines up to Eiswein are also produced. Grape juices, wine vinegars, distillates (fruit, marc and wine spirits), liqueurs and sparkling wines are also produced. The winery is a member of the Bernkasteler Ring.
