The winery is located in the municipality of Landau-Wollmesheim (Südliche Weinstraße area) in the German wine-growing region of Pfalz. It is managed by Bruno Leiner. The vineyards cover 19 hectares of vines in the single vineyard sites Mütterle (Wollmesheim), Kalmit (Ilbesheim) and Sonnenberg (Leinsweiler). They are planted with the white wine varieties Riesling, Silvaner, Rivaner, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Scheurebe, Bacchus, Gewürztraminer and Sauvignon Blanc, as well as with the red wine varieties Pinot Noir, Pinot Noir, Dornfelder, Portugieser, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Dunkelfelder. The white wines are fermented slowly and cool in steel tanks and matured fruity and fresh. After the classic mash fermentation, the red wines mature in steel tanks, large oak barrels or in barriques, depending on the type. Bottle-fermented sparkling wines, brandies and grape juice are also produced.
