Lift dispute Manfred

The estate is located in the cadastral commune of Kleinriedenthal (large commune Retz ) in the Lower Austrian wine region Weinviertel, The company is managed in the third generation by Manfred Hebenstreit, with all family members involved. The vineyards cover 17 hectares of vineyards in the Altenberge, Breiteln, Fuchsenberg, Haidsatz, Herberge, Lange Haide, Mitterpoint and Schatzberg vineyards. They are planted 70% with the white varieties Grüner Veltliner, Riesling, Welschriesling, Chardonnay and Pinot Blanc, and 30% with the red varieties Blauer Portugieser, Blauburgunder, Blauburger, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Zweigelt.

In order to find the optimal time for the harvest, the entire course of vegetation and not just the sugar gradation is used. For the determination of the physiological maturity the berries are tasted continuously and the degree of discoloration of the kernels is observed. The wines are vinified with the aim of regional typicity. The white wines are aged in stainless steel tanks, the red wines in large wooden barrels or barriques. Premium wines are different wines Weinviertel DAC and Weinviertel DAC Reserve (Grüner Veltliner), Riesling Herberge and the red wine blend "Schatzberg".
