The white grape variety is an interspecific new breed between Villard Blanc x (Pannonia Kinsce x Mathiász János Diadala). They are genes from Vitis berlandieri. Vitis rupestris and Vitis vinifera contain. The crossing of the hybrid was done by the breeder József Csizmazia in Eger (Hungary). The name was given after a female figure popular in Hungary in the cycle of poems by the poet Mihály Csokonai Vitéz (1773-1805).
