The white grape variety is an interspecific new breeding between Cabernet Sauvignon x Seibel 13666. Synonyms are Loumnitza, Luminica and Luminita. It contains genes from Vitis berlandieri, Vitis rupestris and Vitis vinifera. It must not be confused with Italian variety Lumassina (Loumnitza). The hybrid was crossed in Moldova in 1971. It is also cultivated in some Balkan countries. No population was recorded in 2016 (Kym Anderson).
For me, Lexicon from wein.plus is the most comprehensive and best source of information about wine currently available.
