Madeleine Angevine Oberlin

The white grape is a cross between Madeleine Angevine x Bouquett grape ( Bukettrebe ). Parenting was due to a DNA analysis published in 2007. Synonyms are Angevine Oberlin, Bouquet Madeleine, Early Madeleine, Julioso Magdolna, Korai Magdolna, Madeleine Ambrée, Madeleine Blanche, Madeleine Blond Oberlin, Madeleine Oberlin, Madlen, Madlen Oberlen and Republicain. It was founded in 1903 in Colmar (Alsace) by the breeder Christian Oberlin (1831-1915) from one seedling selected. The variety is mainly as table grape used. No stocks were reported in 2010 (Kym Anderson ).
