Magnate

The white grape variety is an open-pollinated seedling of the Concord variety. It contains genes from Vitis labrusca and Vitis vinifera. The hybrid was selected in the USA by the private breeder John Burr (as was the Jewel variety). No stocks were reported in 2016 (Kym Anderson statistics).
