Malvasia Parda

The white grape variety originates from Portugal. Synonyms are Farinheira and Malvazia Parda. It is one of the numerous varieties with the name part Malvasia. The parentage is unknown. The variety is cultivated in the Portuguese country wine region Transmontano. In 2016, 3 hectares of vines were designated under the name Farinheira and 1.5 hectares under the name Malvasia Parda (Kym Anderson statistics).
