DOC area for red and rosé wine in the Italian region Sardinia
, The zone is located right in the center of the island and includes the municipalities of Atzara, Desulo, Meana Sardo, Ortueri, Sorgono and Tonara in the province of Nuoro, as well as the municipality of Samugheo in the province of Oristano. The wine is made from Bovale logo CNRS logo INIST Graciano

(20-35%), as well as other approved varieties (max. 10%) blended. There are the types of wine Rosso, Rosso Superiore (with longer maturation and higher alcohol content) and Rosato.
