The white grape variety is a new breed between Gewurztraminer x Trebbiano Toscano, Synonyms are IM 1.50, Incrocio Manzoni 1.50 and Manzoni 1.50. The cross was made by the breeder Luigi Manzoni (1888-1968) at the Weinbauinstitut in the 1920s Conegliano in Veneto ( Italy ). The early to medium ripening, productive vine with pink berries is resistant to fungal diseases, The variety grown in the Venetian Conegliano area.
