The white grape variety is a new breed between Gewurztraminer x Trebbiano Toscano, Synonyms are IM 1.50, Incrocio Manzoni 1.50 and Manzoni 1.50. The crossing was done by the breeder Luigi Manzoni (1888-1968) in the 1920s at the Weinbauinstitut Conegliano in Veneto ( Italy ). The early to mid-season, high yielding vine with pink berries is resistant to fungal diseases, The species cultivated in the Venetian area Conegliano. In 2010, a stock with 29 hectares of vineyards was reported (Kym Anderson ).
