Riede or Lage (also Marienthal) in Burgenland DAC area Leithaberg (Austria). It is by a path between the two communities Oggau (written there Marienthal) and Rust divided. The Ruster part was due to earlier forest existence also as "large forest" and after clearing of the forest as "large maize" (felling) called. The now common name Mariental derives from "Moriteil" (Mark dividing = border). The upper section is dominated by calcareous sand with coral parts, some loam and a thick humus layer. In the lower section there are floating floors. On the south to southeast oriented Riede in 160 to 220 meters above sea level is especially the variety Blaufränkisch cultured. A share of the vineyard, for example, have the wineries Strength Harald. MAD house Marienberg and Triebaumer Ernst,
