The winery is located in the municipality of Göttlesbrunn in the Carnuntum wine-growing region of Lower Austria. It was founded in 1950 by Johann and Katharina Markowitsch under the name "Marko's Weine" as a commercial enterprise with its own vineyards. From 1975 it was managed by Hans Markowitsch and his wife Monika. Since 1998 it has been run by Lukas Markowitsch, the third generation of the family, assisted by his brother...
