The winery is located in the municipality Göttlesbrunn in the Lower Austrian wine-growing region Carnuntum, It was founded in 1950 by Johann and Katharina Markowitsch under the name "Marko's wines" as a trading company with its own vineyards. From 1975 it was headed by Hans Markowitsch and his wife Monika. It has been run by Lukas Markowitsch in the third generation since 1998, supported by his brother Johann. Lukas Markowitsch previously gained experience on study trips through France, Italy, California, Australia and New Zealand. The vineyards cover 14 hectares of vineyards in the vineyards Altenberg Eisenbacher, Hagelberg, Haidacker, forces, Rosenberg, Schütte mountain, Chair maker and Zwiering.
