The estate is located in the municipality of Brauneberg (Bernkastel area) in the German wine-growing region Moselle, The Conrad family's winemaking tradition goes back over 14 generations to 1558. Martin Conrad, whose grandfather was once the founder of the Bernkasteler Rings counted, has been responsible for growing and expanding the wines since 1998. Mother Hilde takes care of the country idyll hotel and restaurant she has been running since 1991, the “Brauneberger Hof”. The vineyards cover 5.5 hectares of vineyards in the locations Juffer and Juffer sundial (Brown Berg), Sonnenlay (Mülheim) and Kirchberg (Veldenz). The wines are produced in three lines. The pure vintage wines without location information are intended for young enjoyment. The second group includes layered wines from low yields from the above-mentioned slate slopes of the highest quality. The best dry and fine-dry (formerly semi-dry) site wines, as well as the noble sweet top wines such as selection, berry selection, dry berry selection and ice wines are under the name Goldkapsel (golden bottle cap). The winery offers so-called Rebstock sponsorships which applies to two vines each. The vines are provided with signs from the vine sponsors and the sponsorship documented with a certificate. The sponsors receive two bottles of godfather wine each year with their own name on the bottle label.
