The estate is located in the municipality of Brauneberg (Bernkastel area) in the German wine-growing region Moselle, The winemaking tradition of the Conrad family goes back over 14 generations to the year 1558. Martin Conrad, whose grandfather was once one of the founders of the Bernkasteler Rings counted, since 1998 responsible for the construction and expansion of the wines. Mother Hilde takes care of the Landidyll Hotel and Restaurant, which she runs since 1991, the "Brauneberger Hof". The vineyards cover 5.5 hectares of vineyards in the layers Juffer and Juffer sundial (Brown Berg), Sonnenlay (Mülheim), as well as Kirchberg (Veldenz). They are 95% with the Riesling, the small rest planted with Pinot Blanc. In the vineyard is under conditions of Integrated viticulture worked. For fermentation, no pure-bred yeasts or enzymes, but natural yeast strains are used. Thus the terroir character is worked out finer and emphasizes the individuality.
The wines are produced in three lines. The varietal vintage wines without position indication are intended for young enjoyment. The second group consists of low-yielding vineyard wines from the highest-quality slate mines listed above. The best dry and feinherben (formerly semi-dry) vineyard wines, as well as the noble sweet top wines such as read, Beerenauslese, Trockenbeerenauslese and ice wines are under the name Goldkapsel (golden bottle cap) produced. The winery offers so-called Rebstock sponsorships which applies to every two vines. The vines are provided with signs of Rebstockpaten and documented the sponsorship with a certificate. The godparents receive two bottles of sponsored wine with their own name every year on the bottle label. There are also flaschenvergorene sect, distillates (Hefebrand, brandy), drinking vinegars, Liqueurs and grape juice produced.
