DOC area (also Martina) for white wine in the Italian region of Apulia. The zone includes the municipality of Alberobello (including Castellana Grotte) in the province of Bari, parts of Ceglie Messapico and Ostuni in the province of Bari, and Crispiano and the eponymous Martina Franca in the province of Taranto. The wine is blended from Verdeca (50-65%), Bianco d'Alessano (35-50%), and Bombino Bianco and/or Minutolo and/or Malvasia Toscana = Malvasia Bianca Lunga (max. 5%). There is also a Spumante. The DOC wine Bianco Locorotondo is similar.
