Mauler

The sparkling wine house "Mauler & Cie Sa" is located in the municipality of Môtiers in the Swiss canton of Neuchâtel. Since 1829 it has had its headquarters in the Priory of Saint-Pierre, the former Benedictine monastery founded in the 10th century. Today, the company is managed in the fourth generation of the family by Jean-Marie and Blaise Mauler. Only sparkling wines are produced according to the Champagne method. The vineyards are dominated by the classic Champagne varieties Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. The vineyards cover ten hectares of vines, with additional grapes being purchased. The grapes for the best cuvées come from our own vineyards. The Cuvée de Prestige of the house is the three year matured "Cuvée Excellence Brut" from 70% Pinot Noir and 30% Chardonnay. Other premium products are "Tradition Brut" and "Rosé Brut" (50% Pinot Noir, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Chardonnay), as well as "Blanc de Blancs Brut (Chardonnay). Around 500,000 bottles are produced annually.
