Mavroliatis

The red grape variety originates from Greece. The parentage is unknown. It must not be confused with the variety Liatiko (synonym Mavroliatis), despite seemingly indicating synonyms or morphological similarities. The variety is cultivated in the Cyclades. However, no stock was reported in 2016 (Kym Anderson).
