Mayrodiates

The red grape variety originates from Greece. It must not be confused with the Liatiko or Mavrodiates varieties, despite seemingly suggestive synonyms or morphological similarities. The variety is cultivated in the Cyclades, but no longer plays a role. No stock was recorded in 2016 (Kym Anderson).
