The white grape variety is a new breed between Rivaner (Müller-Thurgau) x Gewürztraminer). It was crossed in the Czech Republic by the breeder Milos Mislovsky. By the way, the two new varieties Mília and Pálava were created with the same parents. The red berry variety is grown in small quantities. In 2016, however, no stock was reported (statistics Kym Anderson). Medea is also a synonym for the Hungarian new variety Medina (1).
