Melchizedek

Bottle oversize for champagne with the volume of 30 liters or the content of 40 normal bottles. The name derives from the biblical figure Melchisedek (also Melchisedec, Melchizedek or Melchizedek), which is mentioned in Genesis 14, 17 to 19 in the context of the Abraham narrative. He was king of Salem and blessed Abraham, whereupon he paid tithing. Its meaning is that he is the first ever in the Bible mentioned priest, and that he used bread and wine for his sacrifice. Thus he is considered in the church as a symbolic forerunner of Jesus Christ and the donated by him Eucharist, The very rare size becomes, for example, the champagne house Drappier used.
