Metliska Crnina

Red wine cuvée from Slovenia with the quality wine class PTP defined at the beginning of 2008 from the wine-growing region Bela Krajina in the wine-growing region Posavje. The name means "Black from Metliska". It is blended from the varieties Modra Frankinja (Blaufränkisch, max. 60%), Žametovka (Blauer Kölner, at least 30%), as well as Gamay, Modri Pinot (Pinot Noir), Portugalka (Blauer Portugieser), Sentlovrenka (St. Laurent) and Zweigelt (5 to 15%) according to free decision. The dry red wine may have a maximum of 3 g/l residual sugar, and must have between 5.5 and 7.0 g/l acidity and 20 g/l sugar-free extract. The prescribed alcohol content is between 10.3 and 11.5% vol.
