The vineyard "Michel Redde et Fils" is located in the municipality of Saint-Andelain in the Département Nièvre in the French wine region Loire. A François Redde was already mentioned here as a winemaker in the middle of the 17th century. The foundation stone for the present company was laid in the early 1950s by Michel Redde and then by his son Thierry. Since 2003, the company has been managed by the third generation of the family, the two brothers Sébastien and Romain Redde. The vineyards cover 42 hectares of vines, planted with the white varieties Sauvignon Blanc and Chasselas. Depending on the type, the white wines are aged for 3 to 18 months on the fine lees in steel tanks or wooden barrels. The product range includes AOC wines Blanc Fumé de Pouilly(Pouilly-Fumé) with seven wines (Sauvignon Blanc), Pouilly-sur-Loire (Chasselas) and Sancerre (Sauvignon Blanc).
