The winery is located in Maquehua near the city Curicó in the area of the same name in the region Valle Central in Chile, It was built in 1979 by Miguel A. Torres (fourth generation of the family), the current President of the Spanish Wine House Torres founded. This was the first in Chile stainless steel tanks and barriques and contributed greatly to the upswing in viticulture. The vineyards cover a total of about 400 hectares of vineyards. They are spread over several, widely separated vineyards in different wine regions. These are Curicó, Empedrado, Elqui, Itata. Maipo. Maule and Secano Interior.
