The winery is located in Maquehua near the city Curicó in the region of the same name in the region Valle Central in Chile, It was founded in 1979 by Miguel A. Torres (fourth generation of the family), now President of the Spanish wine house Torres founded. This was the first in Chile stainless steel tanks and barriques and played a large part in the boom in viticulture. The vineyards cover a total of around 400 hectares of vineyards.
