Milne Kym

The Australian oenologist Kym Milne (* 1965) is one of the best known Flying Winemakers of the world. He initially studied oenology at the renowned Roseworthy Agricultural College in Adelaide ( Australia ). He gained his first experience at the Australian winery Berri Estates and was then in New Zealand in the renowned company Villa Maria Estate active. In 1991, he was one of the few graduates to pass all exams for the title of first attempt Masters of Wine successfully. From 1992 to 1993 he worked as a freelance winemaker in Hungary and France before he was hired as manager at the British wine import company International Wine Services in 1993. Since 2002, Milne has been running his own consulting firm "Global Wine Solutions" in Adelaide Hills. His wines regularly received top ratings and won international awards. He is also a jury member at numerous international wine competitions and wine critic active for European, Australian and New Zealand wines. See also under Viticulture personalities,
