Mladinka

The white grape variety (also Mladenka) originates from Croatia. The parentage is unknown. It must not be confused with the morphologically very similar variety Bogdanuša, which was long considered identical. The medium to late ripening vine is susceptible to both powdery mildews. It yields white wines with high acidity. The variety is mainly cultivated in the areas of Kastela and Trogir on the Dalmatian coast, as well as Omis in the south of the country. However, no stocks were reported in 2016 (Kym Anderson statistics).
