The winery is located in the municipality of Soave (province of Verona) in the Italian region of Veneto. It was founded in the early 1980s by Gino Magnabosco, who still runs it today with his family. Alessandro Sterchele is the oenologist and Luca Magnabosco the cellar master. In 2000, the vineyard infrastructure was completely renovated, and in 2006 an agritourism business with overnight accommodation was opened. The vineyards cover 30 hectares of vineyards planted with the white wine varieties Garganega and Trebbiano di Soave (25 ha), as well as the red wine varieties Corvina Veronese, Corvinone, Rondinella and Molinara (5 ha). The product range includes various DOC/DOCG Soave and Valpolicella wines. Premium wines include DOC Soave Classico Casette Foscarin (90% Garganega and 10% Trebbiano, fermentation in steel, ageing for 6 months in French barriques) and DOCG Soave Superiore Classico Foscarin Slavinus (100% Garganega late harvest, fermentation 30% steel and 70% wooden barrel, ageing for 12 months in steel). Around 200,000 bottles of wine are produced annually, 60% of which are exported to the USA, Asia and Europe. The winery is a founding member of the Soave Cru association.
