The white grape variety is a new breed between Couderc 603 ( Bourrisquou x rupestris) x Pedro Ximénez, Synonyms are 299-35, Couderc 19 and Couderc 299-35. They are genes from Vitis rupestris and Vitis vinifera contain. The crossing of the hybrid was done in 1894 by the breeder Georges Couderc (1850-1928) in France, The variety was a cross partner in the new varieties L'Acadie Blanc and Valvin Muscat, The variety is of no importance in cultivation; No stocks were shown in 2010 (Kym Anderson ).
