The "Nals Margreid winery" is located in Nals in the Italian winegrowing area South-Tirol
(Region Trentino-Alto Adige
). It was created in 1985 by the merger of the two traditional wineries Nals (1932) and Margreid-Entiklar (1954). Today, 140 winegrowers cultivate around 150 hectares of vineyards along the South Tyrolean Wine Route at 200 to 900 meters above sea level. Every year around 950,000 bottles of wine are produced, of which 30% are exported to European countries and the United States. The winery is a member of the Association of South Tyrolean winery cooperatives.
