Naoussa

Appellation (Greek Naousa) in the district Imathia in the Greek region Macedonia, which is named after the city of the same name. The vineyards cover about 700 hectares of vineyards in nine communities on the southeast slopes of the Vermio massif (2052 m) at 150 to 350 meters above sea level. The climate is characterized by abundant rainfall and cool winters. Of the POP red wine becomes unmixed from the only approved autochthonous vine Xinomavro vinified.
