The red variety is an interspecific new breed between Fratava ( Blaufränkisch x St. Laurent) x Merlan ( Merlot x Seibel 13666 ). The original name was Kaberon for a long time; Synonyms are Na and L-3-10-34. They are genes of Vitis aestivalis. Vitis berlandieri. Vitis labrusca. Vitis rupestris and Vitis vinifera contain. The intersection of hybrid took place in Czech Republic through a team around Vilém crinkly (1924-2013). The variety protection was granted in 2010. With the same parents (but vice versa) are the new breeds Cerason. Kofranka. Laurot and Marlen emerged. The late-ripening vine is quite resistant to Botrytis and both mildews, It produces ruby, tannin and acid red wines with aromas of spices and sour cherries. The variety is being tested in Moravia in trial cultivation.
