The red grape variety is an interspecific new breed between Fratava ( Blaufränkisch x St. Laurent) x Merlan ( Merlot x Seibel 13666 ). The original name was Kaberon for a long time; Synonyms are Na and L-3-10-34. They are genes from Vitis aestivalis. Vitis berlandieri. Vitis labrusca. Vitis rupestris and Vitis vinifera contain. The crossing of the hybrid took place in Czech Republic by a team around Vilém crinkly (1924-2013). The variety protection was granted in 2010. The new breeds are with the same parents (but vice versa) Cerason. Kofranka. Laurot and Marlen emerged. The late ripening vine is quite resistant to Botrytis and both mildews, It produces ruby-colored, tannic and acidic red wines with aromas of spices and sour cherries. The variety is being trialled in Moravia.
