Neoplanta

The white grape variety is a new breed between Smederevka ( Dimyat ) x red Traminer, The crossing was done by the breeder Dragoslav Milisavljevic in Vojvodina in Serbia, The variety protection was granted in 1970. The early ripening vine is sensitive to frost and prone to fungal diseases, It provides alcohol-rich, but rather low-acid white wines nutmeg, The variety is grown in the Fruska Gora area. In 2010, however, no stock was reported (Statistics Kym Anderson ).
