Neoplanta

The white grape variety is a new cross between Smederevka (Dimyat) x Roter Traminer. The cross was made by Dragoslav Milisavljevic in Vojvodina in Serbia. Plant variety protection was granted in 1970. The early ripening vine is sensitive to frost and susceptible to fungal diseases. It produces high-alcohol, low-acid white wines with a muscat tone. The variety is cultivated in the Fruska Gora area. However, no stock was recorded in 2016 (Kym Anderson).
