Central Delaware Valley, Outer Coastal Plain and Warren Hills are classified as AVA areas. The center of viticulture is around Egg Harbor in the Delaware River valley. Well-known producers are Balic Winery, Bellview Winery, Cape May Winery & Vineyard, Lakewood Vineyards, Renault Winery, Slyvin Farms Winery, Tomasello Winery and Unionville Vineyards. One curiosity is that cross-border trade in alcoholic beverages is prohibited within the United States. However, export to outside the United States is permitted.
