The winery is located in the Huapai Valley in the area Auckland (North Island) in New Zealand

, From contract growers with a total of over 500 hectares, grapes are purchased. There are wineries in Drylands (Marlborough) and Huapai (West Auckland). The wines are made from Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Gewürztraminer, Müller-Thurgau, Pinotage (as a New Zealand specialty) and Sauvignon Blanc. Nobilo is best known for the slightly sweet-tasting "White Cloud" (Müller-Thurgau, 15% Sauvignon Blanc and some Muscat). However, the premium wines include the series "Full Harvest", "Grande Reserve" and "Icon". Every year more than five million bottles of wine are produced.
