Nonnenberg

Single location in the municipality of Rauenthal in the German growing region Rheingau, The name derives from the former nunnery Tiefenthal, under whose possession the mountain was cleared. It is recognizable from afar by the half-height villa in the late classical style. The vineyard, oriented to the south to southwest, at 110 to 180 meters above sea level with a slope of 30 to 55%, encompasses almost six hectares of vineyards.
