Nu'er-Hong

Rice wine brand (Chinese Mijiu) from China, the name means "red girl". It is also known as Huadiao Jiu. The basic ingredients are rice and wheat, the alcohol content is 16% vol. The red color comes from mold Monascus purpureus, with which the fermentation (Converting strength into sugar ) the raw materials are introduced. In eastern China, it is a tradition to burrow a rice wine into the ground when a girl is born. The rice wine is then dug out and drunk at the girl's wedding. But if the girl dies before the wedding, the wine is called "faded flowers". See also under sake,
